We've been working so hard on our Lexus GS300 build that we needed to blow off some steam (or smoke for that matter). Lucky for us, Archerfield Drift Park is a only short drive up the highway and they regularly hold drift sessions.

So we loaded up the spare wheels and tyres and hit the highway. A quick E85 pit stop for Gordo's Cefiro along the way. How good is it having four doors!?

As usual the 350z performed flawlessly, proving it to be the perfect drive-in, drive-out drift car. We have kept it looking as stock as possible to keep attention away from ourselves while on the street. But don't let this fool you, it's an absolute drift machine with it's upgraded suspension, hydraulic handbrake, diff and track alignment.

The only thing we wish we did was bring more tyres!

It's great to see such a variety of cars out giving it a crack! This EF Falcon was getting busy.

It can't officially be a drift day without a cheeky s-chassis.

Unfortunately as we went to leave, Gordo's Cefiro blew a turbo coolant hose. Thanks to the help of some other fellow drifters, we managed to make a band-aid fix so the car could make the drive home. Our ritual is to stop in at China-town on the way home to yarn about what a time we had over a delicious feed.

After all, that's what we drift for. To have as much fun with four wheels as we can and make friends along the way. We're all there to do the same thing: shred rubber!
